WHAT IS A GITE ?

For people new to the concept, a French "gîte" is not a hotel but truly your holiday home

without all the fuss of having to buying one !

As such, you are expected to look after it while living in it, as you would with your own house.

We the owners, live on the property and look after the premises regarding everything to do with maintenance.

On the Saturday changeover, the previous holidaymakers have a duty to leave the gîte clean, but we check to make sure everything is fine before you arrive and we make the beds for you...

The original concept, which still exists with some gîtes, was to bring your own bed linen !
